AI CHI is an exercise for the mind and spirit as well as the body. It uses the aquatic environment to enhance the impact of the movement on the muscles. Many people with health issues cannot do land based exercises. Warm water takes the stress off in order to improve balance, core strength, breath control and muscle tone.


Ai Chi is similar to tai chi. In a warm (88-96 degree) pool the participant incorporates diaphragmatic breathing with slow, fluid movements to bring the body to a relaxed state. Hydrostatic pressure increases blood circulation, better oxygenating all organs and muscles to promote healing.

Ai Chi helps relieve the body of tension, pain and stress. It is used to reduce the symptoms of joint, muscular and connective tissue ailments. It helps to improve muscle tone, and increase flexibility and range of motion.
